This policy explains what information Finest Dietitian (HALE 'N' HEARTY VENTURES, Reg. BN573232020, Ghana) collects through finestdietitian.com, why, and what rights you have over it. We aim to handle your data in keeping with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
1. What we collect
- Email address — when you request the free PCOS guide or another download.
- Booking and contact details — name, phone or email, and any health context you choose to share, when you book a consultation or message the practice.
- Height and weight entered into the BMI Calculator — this calculation runs entirely in your browser. We do not receive or store it.
- Basic browser storage — a small, non-tracking flag saved in your browser so the PCOS guide popup does not show again once you have seen it in the same session. This is not shared with us or any third party.
2. What we don't do
This site does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and does not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you.
3. How we use it
Your email is used to send the resource you asked for and, if you don't unsubscribe, occasional nutrition notes from Fredericka. Booking details are used to confirm, prepare for, and follow up on your appointment. Where online payment is available, payments are handled directly by our payment processor (currently Paystack) under its own privacy and security terms — we do not see or store your card details.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the practice — for example, an email delivery provider to send the PCOS guide, and Paystack to process payment where booking is live. We do not sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else without telling you.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your email on the list until you unsubscribe. Booking and clinical-context information is kept for as long as it is useful to your ongoing care, or as required by professional or tax record-keeping obligations, whichever is longer.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from any email list at any time using the link in the email itself. To make a request, use the contact details below.
7. Children's nutrition clients
Where a consultation concerns a child's nutrition, the account and contact details we hold belong to the parent or guardian who books and communicates with the practice, not the child directly.

We may update this policy as the practice and site grow. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
